Technology research center · Nairobi, Kenya
Tarech is a Nairobi-based lab working across IoT, AI, software, finance and social impact — then turning that research into systems people actually use, from farm sensors to trading models to community platforms.

Complete websites and apps that people use every day — set up, watched and looked after by Tarech, not left as demos.
A lost-and-found website and app. Lose a document or an item and you post a report; find one and you post it too — then the two sides get matched. It runs live at secudox.co.ke, with photos, search and a team that checks every report.
secudox.co.ke →A directory where people find groups to join — hiking clubs, business circles, hobby groups — with listings, search and member pages. Over 2,000 groups across Africa.
community.tarech.org →
One system that runs every Tarech website on this page. Pages that no longer exist show a proper “page not found” page instead of a broken error, and search engines and AI assistants get clear, up-to-date listings of what is on the site.
The payment engine behind myBusiness: it takes an order, collects the money by M-Pesa or card, and sends it where it should go — with a dashboard the team uses to watch every transaction.
A platform for listing jobs, calls and opportunities for businesses and students — with a public area for visitors and a private area for the staff who manage it.
A Kenyan Fantasy Premier League community — leagues, points tables and football stories published on a schedule.
A phone timer that floats a countdown over whatever app you are using, so you stay on one task.
Paste a video link and get a multiple-choice quiz built from what the video says.
A WhatsApp assistant that answers customers automatically for a second-hand clothes business.
A simple tool that keeps every job application in one place — where you applied, when, and what stage it is at.

A company website plus a private admin area for a haulage business: customers can ask for a quote, while staff keep shipments, drivers and documents in one place. Shipped to production and maintained.

Booking sites for tour operators and travel agencies — destinations, trips and payment that accepts M-Pesa.
A booking site where travellers browse destinations and trips, pick dates, and pay a deposit with M-Pesa — the checkout local customers actually finish.
A ready-made travel site an operator can launch in a day — their own photos, itineraries and enquiry form, already laid out.
Design directions prepared for tour operators before any build starts.
A magazine-style layout proposed for premium safari brands.

Websites for foundations, schools and community groups — showing programmes, events and results the way supporters expect to see them.
A full new website for a foundation working in education and health: what the programmes do, photo galleries, an events calendar, and easy ways to get in touch or book a place.
Timelines and photo galleries that turn field work into evidence supporters can read.
172 organisations across East and Central Africa researched — using only verified email addresses, no guessed contacts.
2,340 personalised emails prepared, grouped by interest and ready to send.
